In the heart of Sauris in the Velt district, in close contact with nature and the wood, Simone proposes healthy cuisine made with natural products, paying painstaking attention to food intolerances and using wild herbs grown in Sauris and products from the Carnia area and not only. Traditional recipes are creatively re-visited, following the course of the seasons.
The menu includes both vegetarian and meat-based dishes selected according to the origin of the products. Some of the dishes featured on the menu: mille-feuille with leaves of radicchio confit and pindula, Pumpkin risotto and creamed mustard with salted cheese, chicory flan served with a very mature Malga cheese cream. The desserts are also home-made, using natural brown sugar, organic eggs and buckwheat, chickpea and rye flour. Biodynamic or regional organic wines are served and not only. Groups, children and 4-legged friends are welcome. Advance booking is appreciated.
