The Rifugio Eimblateribn (Eimblateribn Shelter) is located at a height of 1,441 metres and it is a rustic 2-floor building alternating masonry with carpentry. It can be reached by following a suggestive itinerary, overlooking four valleys: the Val Pesarina to the North, the Val Degano to the East, the Val Lumiei to the West and the Val Tagliamento to the South. We advise you to climb up and discover it at the beginning of summer when you will be able to see the fragrant orchids and colourful lilies blossoming along the edges of the paths. The shelter can be reached from Sauris di Sotto by following the forest road that leads towards the Raitern “stavoli” (mountain homes), from here you can continue heading in the direction of the shelter. It is open every day from 15th June to 15th September; for the rest of the year it is open in the weekends.
Services: Café, restaurant, showers and toilet facilities.
