The restaurant of the Chalet Rikhelan is a veritable "gem" for gourmets. The intimate dining room has been created out of old stables with flooring in Carnic stone and ceilings entirely made of wood. The dishes, fine both in substance and in presentation, are all home-made: from the hand-"rolled" pasta used to make the “cjarsons “, stuffed with a delicate filling of smoked ricotta, sultanas and cinnamon, along with the refined “blecs” with herbs and walnuts or the barley and bean soups. There is no lack of game and the flavours of every season in the kitchen of the Rikhelan that invites you to round off the feast at the dinner table with a refined dessert.
In summer, the restaurant can be conveniently reached by car, while in winter, by walking on the snow using either snowshoes or skis for approximately 400 metres from the Sauris di Sopra ski slopes, or by snowmobile by calling the Chalet reception.
