At the Morgenleit restaurant, there is a combination of both tradition and innovation: the cuisine follows a seasonal rhythm, in the constant research for increasingly new dishes yet which are deeply - rooted in the flavours of the typical Sauris gastronomy. The pasta and the desserts are rigorously home - made. The top-quality raw materials are those found in the Sauris valley: cured meats, cheeses, trout from the local lake, wild herbs, forest mushrooms and the fine game meat that are skilfully processed and blended with care and passion. Finally, a wide selection of wines offers the possibility to enhance the flavours of the delicious dishes with fine wines from this Region and not only.
The dining room, that can seat up to 60 people, welcomes its guests with a warm “stube” (a traditional, wood-panelled environment), while the windows provide a wide panorama of the town. In summer, the outdoor terrace is prepared to seat an additional 50 people.
For a quick yet rich snack, at the Bar and on the terrace in front, it is naturally possible to taste the famous Prosciutto di Sauris (Sauris Ham), the various locally - produced cold cuts and cured meats, cheeses and the craft Zahre Beer.
