Hi, I’m Omar, and I’m proposing an epic adventure: the climb to Monte Bivera, the silent guardian of Sauris. Imagine leaving the pastures of Casera Razzo behind you, to immerse yourself in an increasingly wild and rocky landscape. We will follow traces of a path that climbs the gravelly slopes, until we reach the aerial crest, where the panorama opens up in all its majesty: the Friulian Dolomites, the Carnic Alps, Lake Sauris nestled between the mountains. The last stretch, on detrital terrain, requires a sure step, but the summit rewards you with a 360-degree view, an emotion that will leave you breathless. Climbing the Bivera is not just reaching a peak, it is entering the authentic heart of Sauris, an experience that will change you forever.

To bring: hiking clothing suitable for the seasonal climate with boots with sculpted soles, packed lunch with snacks and adequate water supply, waterproof shell, change of underwear, hat and sunglasses. Trekking poles recommended
Show up 15 minutes before the scheduled time. From Sauris di Sopra in about 30 minutes we will reach Casera Razzo with our own means along the S.P. 33 on a paved mountain road.

The excursion will be cancelled in case of bad weather, taking as a reference the forecasts of www.meteo.fvg.it
