Hi, I’m Renzo! I’ll take you on a walk among the first tentative signs of spring awakening. April in Sauris is a special time: the snow slowly retreats and nature begins to breathe again.
Along the way, we’ll learn to recognize the first wild herbs sprouting in the meadows, the pioneer flowers that dare to bloom before all the others, and the trees that awaken, bud after bud. We’ll listen to the songs of the birds that return to populate the woods and pastures, discovering who they are, where they live, and what they tell us about this season. The wildlife that is reviving after winter will be our silent companions, to be observed and respected.
A simple hike, suitable for everyone, to learn to read the small signs that spring leaves us along the way.
