Hi, I’m Omar!

I’m proposing a hike that’s rewarding for the incredible views it offers during the long high-altitude crossing between Monte Rioda and Monte Festons.

We’ll quickly climb from Sauris di Sopra towards Sella Festons, where, shortly beforehand, we’ll make a long traverse across the meadows in full spring bloom. Once we reach the saddle between Palone and Rioda, we’ll reach the summit of the latter mountain and from there we’ll begin a true high-altitude ride that, with many ups and downs and a few more airy sections, will bring us back to Monte Festons and the saddle of the same name. The hike ends along the outward route back to Sauris di Sopra.

Meeting point: 15 minutes before departure
