Hi, I’m Omar, a mountain guide.
Together, we’ll take an easy evening hike along the ridge of Mount Ruke, illuminating our path with discreet lanterns at the edge of the woods of Sauris di Sopra.

On this excursion, we’ll experience the magical atmosphere that envelops the woods as night falls on the mountain. Guided by small lanterns, their discreet light will accompany us toward Mount Ruke, skimming the fir forests that dominate the summit of this gentle peak. We’ll reach the Monte Cavallo di Sauris viewpoint, enjoying the view of the small Sauris villages illuminated in the night. The return journey will be along an easy forest road, with tales of the elves and good spirits that inhabit the Carnia mountains.

What to bring:
– Hiking clothing suitable for the season (thermal layer + windbreaker/down jacket)
– Gloves and hat
– Hiking boots or shoes with good soles
– Backpack with water/hot drink, snacks, and a packed lunch
– Trekking poles (recommended)
– Lanterns provided by the organization
– Crampons available upon reservation in case of ice (€3 rental)
