Hi, I’m Omar, a mountain guide.
Together we’ll hike along the ridge of Mount Ruke, guided by small lanterns that will illuminate our path through the fir forests.

When night falls on the mountain, we’ll experience a magical and silent atmosphere. From the summit, we’ll reach the viewpoint on Mount Cavallo di Sauris, where the Sauris villages will light up in the night, offering us a unique spectacle.

The return journey will be along a comfortable forest road, amidst tales of elves and benevolent spirits that have always inhabited these Carnia mountains.

What to bring:
– Hiking clothing suitable for the season (thermal layer + windbreaker/down jacket)
– Gloves and hat
– Hiking boots or shoes with good soles
– Backpack with water/hot drink, snacks, and a packed lunch
– Trekking poles (recommended)
– Lanterns provided by the organization
– Crampons available upon reservation in case of ice (€3 rental)

Meeting point: 15 minutes before departure
In case of snow: the route may be modified by the guide to ensure safety
In case of bad weather: the excursion will be canceled (for the forecast see www.meteo.fvg.it)
