A picturesque circular route through the Sauris mountains, starting from the Eimblateribn Refuge, leading to the panoramic peak of Monte Pietinis. The route winds through cool coniferous forests and gentle mountain pastures, alternating between shady stretches and bright clearings, as well as a long panoramic ridge. As you gain altitude, the landscape opens up, offering sweeping views of the surrounding rolling ridges and Alpine valleys. A rewarding and harmonious hike, ideal for immersing yourself in the tranquility and authentic colors of the Friulian mountains.
The starting point will be reached by private vehicle; good mountain road driving skills are required.
