Hi, I’m Renzo, and I’ll take you through the streets of the village of Sauris di Sopra, where I’ll explain which buildings, once used as stables and barns, were constructed using the Blockbau technique. Starting in the 1980s, as part of the Sauris Project, some of these historic buildings were expertly restored while maintaining their original features, and I was one of the architects who participated.

In 2022, the authenticity of the village of Sauris was recognized and awarded by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) as part of the Best Tourism Villages initiative, along with 32 other rural tourist villages around the world.

On this experience, I will accompany you through traces and images of the past, stories of the present, and hopes for the future.
