Hi, I’m Michele! I’ll guide you on a fascinating nighttime hike through the woods of Lateis, a place where nature is enveloped in silence and the sky opens up to a blanket of stars. We’ll walk together along paths immersed in greenery, listening to the calls of the nocturnal animals that enliven the valley. Along the way, I’ll tell you the history of the Lumiei Valley, with its artificial lake, and I’ll tell you about the Sauris language, an ancient and unique Germanic language still spoken today by a few inhabitants of Sauris, custodians of centuries-old traditions and culture.
As darkness falls, we’ll observe the sky with binoculars and the naked eye, discovering constellations, planets, and the secrets of the universe above our heads. This experience will allow us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature and rediscover the profound connection between the Earth and the cosmos, allowing ourselves to be enchanted by the magic of the night.
