The project aims to provide insight into the original layout and characteristics of “La Maina,” a hamlet in Sauris that was almost entirely submerged by the hydroelectric dam after the construction of the reservoir. The reconstructed historical environment can be explored through virtual reality video content viewed with dedicated viewers, as well as augmented reality content viewed with smartphones, tablets, or PCs.
