Hi, I’m Renzo, and I’ll guide you on an exploration that begins deep within the earth, in an area dominated by the “rock glacier,” an underground glacier whispering millennia-old stories. We’ll follow the winding path of its waters as they feed the mysterious Mediana lake. Surrounded by a dense coniferous forest, the lake occupies a perfectly shaped sinkhole. Its remote location makes it a well-kept secret, so much so that even the Italian Alpine Club (CAI) trails brush past it without revealing its existence.
